BRONZE MEDAL WIN FOR RIDE THE WAVE
Bronze Medal Win for Minneapolis Author at Axiom Book Awards
MINNEAPOLIS — John Wessinger, Minneapolis author and business strategist, beat out top business authors to score the bronze medal in the Sales category at the 11th annual Axiom Awards for his book Ride the Wave: How to Embrace Change and Create a Powerful New Relationship with Risk. The award was announced on February 8, 2018.
In Ride the Wave, John details how businesses and organizations need to embrace ever-changing market conditions, adopt a progressive business mindset, and learn to use risk as a compass to have the best shot at success in the digital era.
Excerpt:
Risk is now the new norm, and it is also the new path to success. Leaders who are not exploring risk willingly are exposing themselves–as well as the organization–to the risks associated with not adapting to new conditions.
“This is the type of book that anyone passionate about sales and marketing should read. It’s personal, it’s actionable, and it’s well-written.” — Adam Dince, author of Hopeful to Hired
“To have Ride the Wave recognized along with such well-known and respected authors as Ray Dalio, John C. Maxwell and The Heath Brothers – whose books are sitting on the shelves of my office – is just huge,” said author John Wessinger. “I hope the award win helps get the word out and that it leads to more people not only reading the book, but also using the concepts and principles to make changes in their own personal and professional lives.”
“We knew we were working with a special book when John Wessinger came to us with Ride the Wave. This is the type of business book that transcends just great career advice; it’s great advice for life! We are beyond excited to see this book get the recognition it truly deserves.” – Roseanne Cheng, Marketing Director, Wise Ink Creative Publishing.
